Cooking For Community
Volunteer with Us to prepare meals for donation
Help us in our mission to make a difference in the community! Using fresh produce donated from Hilltop Hanover, Harvest Moon, Deep Roots Farm, and D.I.G. Farm, we prepare meals for the Community Center of Northern Westchester, Interfaith Food, and a shelter in Mt. Vernon. We invite you to cook with us at the Bedford Presbyterian Church or the First Presbyterian Church Mt. Vernon. Last season, we proudly donated over 1,000 meals, and together, we can do even more!
Food Rescue
Rescuing Meals from local schools, businesses and organizations
Join us in our mission to reduce food waste and support our community! Thanks to the incredible efforts of Livia Fleming, we successfully rescued over1500 pounds of prepared meals last season, preventing them from ending up in the trash. These family-style meals are delivered to the Community Center of Northern Westchester. If you have suggestions for locations to rescue food or would like to help with transportation, please reach out to us!
