Wild Roots Celebration of Abundance

WILD ROOTS CELEBRATION OF  ABUNDANCE

Join us at in celebration of abundance at D.I.G. Farm's  organic gardens and trails. Sunday, October 5th, D.I.G. Farm, North Salem, 2:30 pm.

Participatory wild foods, medicine, and art demonstrations • plant communication • wild mushroom innoculation experiments •  foraging walks • fun potluck dinner on the farm!

Herbalist Livia Fleming ⁃ Artist-forager Anna Adler ⁃ Forager and healer Heather Flournoy ⁃ Amateur mycologists from Pro Brothers Farm ⁃ Cooper, teen herbalist from Lobster Hill Farm ⁃ Wild chef Chrys Napolitano ⁃ Wild basket weaver Max Sechzer

We'll harvest some wild edible goodness and then we will eat!

$25 donation suggested. Bring extra because we're hoping we get our teachers and producers to offer a few cool things to share!

APPROPRIATE FOR: • All ages, all abilities.

POTLUCK: • Join us after for a potluck dinner with farmers, foragers and herbalists! • Plates, bowls, cutlery and glasses will be provided. • Bring a dish to share (label with ingredients appreciated) • We encourage bringing dishes featuring homegrown, organic or foraged ingredients!

PAYMENT

You can donate to support our work online, or register and offer in person. But don't let lack of funds keep you away. Let us know and we'll arrange to support your need.

BRING: • Collection bags or baskets • Appropriate dress to prevent tick and mosquito bites
